About James or 'Baz' – Guitar Tutor

Well first off… it’s James or Baz, whichever you prefer. He likes both but we already have a James at our Bicester studio so ‘Baz’ avoids confusion for us......(and believe me, we are so very easily confused!!!) Baz has been playing guitar for over 10 years and teaching for 5 of them both privately and in schools. He passed his Rockschool Grade 8 examination with flying colours, and graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) with a BA(Hons) in Contemporary Popular Music, so he is well and truly qualified!!!



Baz has played in many bands one of which you might be interested to check out. They are called Redlight and have a great myspace page(check out the link below). Some of the students at TMB already know Baz because he worked for TMB a few years ago. Redlight were doing so well he gallivanted off to live in Belfast with the rest of the guys from the band but he just couldn’t stay away much to the delight of Tim and the students at TMB who had experienced his awesome teaching before! Although he had a wonderful time in Ireland and found love and friends for life whilst he was there......he’s back......Hurray!!!

Currently Baz writes and plays guitar with an American singer/songwriter Nikki Shannon. They have played a load of gigs together throughout the Midlands and occasionally tour in the States. For those of you that were taught by Mike previously, you’ll be glad to hear that Baz and Mike are great friends and jam a lot together.
