Bands
We believe that playing in a band is an incredibly rewarding experience. It’s a way of making life-long friends, experiencing the buzz of playing live, meeting new people and it’s also a fantastic way of honing your playing skills.
That’s why we hold weekly band days and a variety of other workshops where players (young and old) can refine their muso “life skills”.
The sessions are fun, informal and we match up player levels so no one feels out of their depth. If you'd like to get involved, just get in touch!
Workshops
All year round at TMB we run extra workshops to teach you all the things that you need to know to be a fully rounded musician... all the practical stuff, such as tuning drums, or re-stringing your guitar. These are designed to widen your musical knowledge.
Everything you need is included. Our studios are equipped with two drum kits (and we can accommodate left and right handers), guitars, basses, keyboards, amps, leads, PAs, a good stereo system, various other percussive bits and bobs and a whole load of resource material. You can choose to follow a syllabus or we can tailor sessions to address specific concerns, queries or just to learn that ‘one' song that will make your musical life complete!
