Our equipment

		Drum Kits We are sponsored by Sabian cymbals and have two Mapex kits fully loaded with Sabian cymbals. We also have a Traps E450 electronic practice kit (and headphones) in a studio upstairs so that our students can come and practice / play in complete privacy outside of their arranged lessons.
		Line6 Guitar Amps We use Line6 Guitar Amps for their great tone and versitility. Line6 Digitial Modelling Technology enables their amps to offer a whole range of different classic amp models and effects for the user to utilise. At the musical box we can therefore utilise this to teach students about tone but also with the ability to store user presets, we can keep the students sounds so that we always have the right tone at the touch of a button ready to learn or perform a song. Along with practise amps, The Musical Box also have two performance ready amplifiers in the Spider Valve (pictured) and the Spider IV 75. These amps mean that for band days and performances the students can take their presets that they have developed and practised with straight to the stage and have the volume and projection on tap ready to rock with the band!!
		Line6 Bass Amps As with our guitar amps, we have a number of practise amps for low volume bass playing when our students are getting a song together, however... once it's time to fine tune that tone and deliver some bass power on stage or in the live room alongside one of The Musical Box drummers then we've got the gear for you. The Line6 Lowdown amps, such as the LD300 Pro pictured, provide 4 classic amp models along with a Bass Synth to ensure that the students can learn about getting the right sound and that both they and the band can really feel the bass in a performance situation.
		Electric, Bass and Acoustic Guitars We have a range of full and half sized guitars and basses (electric and acoustic) – so there's no excuse not to start learning or improving!
