About James
James is a professional singer with nearly 30 years experience performing as lead singer with a variety of bands and also as a solo artist; James Acoustic. He is also a founding member of top Midlands band Mr BEN, whom he has fronted for the last 15 years!! James teaches singing at both our Bicester and Stratford upon Avon Studios.
Over the years, James has performed at many venues and events such as Ricoh Arena, The Birmingham ICC, The Jam House Birmingham and the list goes on!
As a frontman with a band, he enjoys being theatrical and engaging with an audience, but also loves the intimacy when it’s just him, his guitar and a singing crowd!
James believes that anyone can learn to sing well with the right guidance and support. He LOVES singing and says "It makes you feel good, it gives you confidence and it unites people. But above all else, it can be just plain fun!"
James seems to love singing and teaching as much as learning himself. In recent years he has undertaken a course at the Voice College in Singing technique and teaching. He never stops learning his craft!
His lovely friendly smilie personality makes him a great teacher ready to inspire the next generation of musicians.
