About hugo

Hugo is a Grade 8 drummer and maths tutor, who has played live and performed since a young teen. He may only be a young guy but his experience is huge so don’t underestimate him…..!! We are so proud to have him as part of the TMB crew.

Hugo enjoys playing a huge range of musical styles and you can catch him regularly performing at open mic nights around Leamington. He also plays the snare for a couple of folk groups, which he says is very different from playing kit!

Hugo played in an orchestra for musical theatre shows at university, which really highlighted just how much the orchestra relies upon drummers to keep everything together.

He also believes that drumming is a great way to express yourself musically, but above all it’s about having fun! It’s a great cardiovascular workout too, so it’ll save you a trip to the gym!
