About lorna

Lorna is a classically trained pianist who’s been playing since the age of five and has always enjoyed playing, listening to and watching a wide range of music, including doing a stint as a House DJ in the nineties!  She has taught piano to students from the ages of seven to seventy and loves making piano lessons fun, interesting and rewarding. She especially enjoys putting together tailored arrangements of her student’s favourite songs for them to learn, whatever genre they may be. Lorna is an enthusiastic and patient teacher who takes the time to tune in to her students’ learning styles, understand their musical interests and nurture their individual strengths.

Lorna is a music addict who listens to everything from Motown to Ska, House and Indie. She’s passionate about sharing her love for music and enjoys nothing more than spending time at live music nights and buying way too much vinyl.
