Coronavirus

Lessons go on at TMB and we got your backs!

This is a very scary time to be a small business. We currently don't qualify for any financial help from the government and if lessons stop, our teachers don't get paid and TMB will not be able to continue.

We REALLY don't want that and we hope you don't either.

SO.... here's the plan:

Our studios remain open and our lessons are continuing. As lessons are 1-2-1, we believe that, with appropriate levels of consideration and cleaning, we can minimise risk as much as possible. However, from today, our waiting area will be closed.

We are:

  • Sanitising surfaces, including all light switches, door handles, banisters, the kettle, fridge doors etc.
  • Sanitising all teaching rooms and instruments in between each student
  • Providing cleaning materials to all teachers
  • Making lessons slightly shorter so we can carry out cleaning in between lessons
Please help us by:
  • Washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water as soon as you enter the studio.
  • Wait in your car, not the waiting room
  • DO NOT attend if you have a cough or a fever.

If you're self-isolating, and feeling well, your lesson will take place at the same time and day as usual but will be done via video call.
If this applies to you, please follow these instructions:
  • Please contact the office in advance of your lesson so that we can let your teacher know. You will need to tell us if you can use FaceTime or WhatsApp for video calling and what number you want us to call on.
  • If you don't have access to your instrument at home, please let us know this too so we can make a plan ahead of your lesson.
  • DO NOT contact your teacher, they will video call you at the time of your lesson. THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT so that you don't interrupt anyone else's lessons.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do get in touch with us.

We really value your support. Music is of huge benefit to mental health and can lighten up the darkest times. We want to keep it going any way we can. Let's get through this together.

Love,
The TMB Team X
