Our singing lessons are taught in our comfortable soundproofed studios. All lessons are one-to-one and will teach you technique, posture, breathing and phrasing. You will gain skills, confidence and build a wicked set of songs to be proud of.
All lessons are one-to-one and parents of younger students are welcome to either sit in, relax in the waiting room or come back and collect at the end of the lesson… if you are one of our older students, please don't feel it is necessary to bring a parent!
modern ’rock & pop’ lessons
We firmly believe that music lessons can (and should) be fun! We encourage our students to learn songs that they love and want to learn. We’ll break down the parts into bite sized chunks, along with any specific techniques needed.
If we’re working on a specific technique or element, we’ll suggest cool songs or parts that will help accelerate the learning process.
For those of a more studious nature, we have our own carefully developed course and award scheme where students can take bronze, silver and gold awards in their chosen instrument and music technology. Or you can choose to follow the Rockschool or Trinity Guildhall syllabus if you're after qualifications…but remember, exams are not compulsory!
Everything you need is included
The studios are fully equipped with a good stereo system, keyboards and a whole load of resource material. You can choose to follow a syllabus or we can tailor lessons to address specific concerns, queries or just to learn that ‘one' song that will make your musical life complete!

- Posture, technique and vocal exercises
- Learning songs in various musical styles
- Backing vocals and close harmony vocals
- Technical stuff like musical notation, scales, intervals and theory
- Song coaching
- Singing in a band
- Microphone technique
Band days and workshops
We believe that playing in a band is an incredibly rewarding experience. It’s a way of making life long friends, experiencing the buzz of playing live, meeting new people and it’s also a fantastic way of honing your playing skills.
That’s why we hold weekly band days and variety of other workshops where players (young and old) can refine their muso “life skills”.
The sessions are fun, informal and we match player level so no one feels out of their depth.
Sofia is growing in confidence every lesson and Bryony is carefully choosing songs that will challenge her in the right ways. Bryony is friendly, gives good feedback and is obviously tuned in to Sofia's particular strengths and weaknesses. Thanks TMB
